John of Patmos
John of Patmos was the prophet who wrote the book revelation having been inspired by God to write it. As an idiom John Patmos means a revelatory dream
Example: Joseph had a John of Patmos.
I had a John of Patmos when God spoke to me in a dream and told me read a contemporary version of the Bible-The Message.
Aung San Suu Kyi
Aung San Suu Kyi is the democratically elected leader of Myanmar. She has distanced herself and ignored the plight of Rohingya Muslims are who are being ethnically cleansed by the junta of Myanmar called Tatmadaw. As an idiom Aung San Suu Kyi means being a cold shoulder to the suffering and the tormented.
Example: There are many Aung San Suu Kyis in the world.
The Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar are facing an Aung San Suu Kyi.
Paul
We all know the story of Paul the apostle who was persecuting Christians and God encountered him at Damascene and proselytized him. As an idiom Paul means a proselytizer.
Example: Many Pauls are needed in the Middle East.
Pauls are working actively in many parts of the world.
Wedding at Cana
We all know the gospel story about the wedding at Cana where when the wine became over, Jesus performed a miracle and turned water into wine. As an idiom wedding at Cana means the occurrence of a fortunate situation.
Example: Winning the first prize for a windfall is a wedding at Cana for me.

Women at the Well
This refers to the encounter of a Samaritan woman at the well by Jesus. Jesus was thirsty and asked her water to drink. She replied that Jews don't have intercourse with Samaritans. Jesus then gave her a spiritual homily that those who drink my water will never thirst again. As an idiom: Samaritan woman means the dissemination of information.
Example: Governments indulge in the propaganda of Samaritan women.
The press through the Samaritan woman tries to mold public opinion.
Blood of Christ
Jesus Christ of Nazareth shed his blood on the cross so that the whole of mankind would be saved from sin. As an idiom blood of Christ means a mental purification or soul cleansing.
Example: The Blood of Christ is essential to live a happy life.
In my encounter with God, I experienced the blood of Christ
